Maurice Parker Structural Engineers was established in 1992 under the original owner, Maurice Parker. In 2009, the company became Maurice Parker Structural Engineers Limited operating with three directors, Maurice Parker, David Parker and Scott Davies. Our main office is based in Ivybridge just outside of Plymouth. Both directors have home offices in the Plymstock area. We now employ 4 members of staff following Maurice's retirement in 2014.

Complex structural engineering is our principal discipline and this is reflected in the commissions undertaken. Whether undertaking large multi-storey structures or a simple wall removal for a domestic client, our extremely experienced engineers are able to provide effective and practical engineering advice. Where required we are able to use our advanced structural engineering software to analyse very complex problems. Although as mentioned above, structural engineering covers our main section of work it is not limited to this. We have vast knowledge in civil engineering having designed large retaining walls in several materials and complete designs incorporating drainage solutions. As part of structural engineering, we gained a specialist knowledge working with historic, listed buildings. We approach these buildings with the respect and sympathy they demand and produce pragmatic, practical engineering solutions.

We are well aware of the importance of achieving the compliant programme and key milestones and will work closely with all relevant parties to ensure the required delivery dates are met.
